The fight against addiction can be isolating and overwhelming for individuals affected by this disease. Most people find that an addiction recovery program, like the individualized programs at our drug rehab centers around the country, is an essential part of the healing process. Our substance abuse treatment facility in Meridian, Idaho can help individuals through the detoxification process and help them progress through therapy and eventually aftercare treatment. We provide care in a comfortable environment staffed by individuals who make fostering a supportive community their number one priority. Whether it is the first attempt at addiction recovery or a last ditch effort to maintain sobriety, we help our clients achieve their recovery goals and plan for the future.

Clients arriving at our addiction treatment facility are given a health assessment before proceeding with any type of recovery program. We begin with monitored detox, during which time clients may experience the unpleasant symptoms of withdrawal as the remnants of controlled substances leave the body. Withdrawal symptoms are often dependent on the type of controlled substance as well as the length of use.

Supervised detox at our drug detox clinic allows trained staff members to be mindful of symptoms indicating that clients are experiencing serious symptoms, and they can call for assistance as necessary. Not only are supervised detoxes safer, they are often more effective because staff and peers are able to offer support throughout the process.

Individual and group therapy are both important parts of our addiction recovery program. Our staff works hard to create an environment of acceptance and honesty in order to encourage growth during therapy. Individual therapy allows clients to work one-on-one with a trusted therapist to discuss personal issues and past events that may have triggered their path to addiction. When someone receives a dual diagnosis, it means this individual suffers from a co-occurring mental health disorder.

Treatment is not separate, because it is essential that both the addiction and co-occurring mental health disorder are treated in order for the client to fully recover. During group therapy sessions, clients interact with their peers to discuss topics related to recovery. A therapist at our addiction recovery center leads these sessions, but clients are encouraged to participate as much as possible to offer support, ask questions, or hold others accountable for their behaviors or actions. Group therapy serves as a reminder that despite the isolating nature of addiction, no one is ever alone on this journey.

While an addiction treatment center provides structure and support, the same is not always true of the outside world. The time directly after leaving a drug rehab facility is often the most vulnerable for individuals, which is why we work to pair clients with quality aftercare treatment facilities. Sober living housing is particularly beneficial during this transitional period because these facilities offer some of the same benefits as an addiction recovery facility. Daily chores and routines are complemented by living side by side with other individuals working on their sobriety. After leaving sober living, we encourage our clients to continue working with a trusted therapist near home as well as attending support group meetings.

Addiction can make individuals feel alone, but our addiction recovery center in Meridian, Idaho can provide a supportive community of professionals eager to help in the recovery process. We welcome new clients to experience the support of a community dedicated to helping individuals achieve lifelong sobriety.
